آسیب های محیطی پرورش ماهی غیر اصولی:
- آلودگی آب رودخانه ها و چاه های آب شرب.
- رها سازی پساب استخرها در بستر رودخانه و زمین های کشاورزی.
- شیوع بیماری های باکتریایی و ویروسی از طریق پساب خروجی.
- از بین بردن بستر طبیعی رودخانه ها بخاطر راه اندازی شیلات های غیر مجاز.
- از بین بردن ظاهر طبیعی محیط زیست.
